A workshop for pathologists, paediatricians, oncologists, neurosurgeons and trainees, interested in the pathology of paediatric brain tumours shall be organised under the auspices of the Malaysian Society of Neurosciences, College of Pathologists (Academy of Medicine, Malaysia), and University of Malaya Medical Centre.

Professor Jeffrey Golden, Pathologist-in-chief, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA, a renowned expert on paediatric neuropathology, will conduct the workshop.

This workshop comprises lectures on various aspects of tumours including commonly diagnostic morphology and genetics, diagnostic pitfalls, etc, on a broad range of paediatric brain tumours. Hands-on microscopic work and case discussions shall be a central feature.
