The Society acts as a common forum for neurosurgeons and physicians from other related specialties, to promote the development of neurosurgery and ancillary fields in Malaysia, and to advance the professional interests of physicians in these fields. Welcome to the official website of the Neurosurgical Association of Malaysia (NAM).

NAM is the official and currently the only body representing neurosurgeons in Malaysia. Our members comprise of practicing neurosurgeons from the Ministry of Health, public universities such as Universiti Malaya, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Universiti Islam Antarabangsa, as well as neurosurgeons practicing in the private sector. As such, we have a group of neurosurgeons with diverse experience and training backgrounds, locally and internationally. Despite this diversity, in keeping with the spirit of ‘One Malaysia’, we are now united under one association with common interest and goal; to promote healthy relationship amongst all neurosurgeons in Malaysia whilst providing an avenue for its members to strive in their career and professionalism.
